RecipePythonBeginner

Fit a curve to data with error bars and draw a confidence band

chi2_dof = np.sum(((y - model(t, *popt)) / sigma) ** 2) / (t.size - popt.size)

ToolPythonBeginner

Minimization with scipy.optimize.minimize: the shape of a seven-atom cluster

return np.sum(4 * (r**-12 - r**-6))

ToolPythonBeginner

Numerical integration with scipy.integrate: the area under a measured peak
